It has been a busy week for our Sixth Form students with lots of fundraising and volunteering going on, along with work in the community.
The students have been fundraising to raise money for the Whitechapel Centre in Liverpool who work with the homeless. Well done to all the students who organised a very successful cake sale, raising £91. This was added to contribution from students who wore their festive Christmas Jumpers and in total, they have raised £230 for this incredibly worthy organisation.
Thank you to all family members who have contributed goods towards our collection for the centre. We have been overwhelmed by your generosity. We also received a large bag of goods from a parent last week who still, remains anonymous to us. But please accept our thanks and appreciation.
Finally, well done to the Year 12 and Year 13 students who organised the Christmas party for students at Rowan Park School on Monday. The party was a great success and every year, it is so heartwarming to see the effort our students put in to ensure the children have a great time. The students raised money over the last few weeks and presented every child with a goody bag of sweets and gifts.
A big well done to all Sixth Formers for their hard work over the festive period to raise money and work with the community.
