During our annual Careers Convention last Friday our Year 11’s impressed over 50 employers, universities, colleges and apprenticeship providers with their professional conduct and enthusiasm to explore opportunities for their future.
Students approached professionals from Science, Finance, Engineering, Health, Public Services and many more asking questions about careers and opportunities within the companies and industries. Understanding what opportunities are available and being aware of all progression options is important for young people making careers decisions and the Careers Convention is a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to connect to the business community and learn first-hand from them.
We now encourage all pupils to continue exploring their options further and to actively engage with Careers at Deyes High School to make the most of all career development opportunities open to them.
