Last week, we welcomed our alumni and ex-staff to an 'Our Best Deyes' event to celebrate our history and achievements at Deyes Lane campus.
Visitors toured the school and told us lots of stories about their time at Deyes.Performing Arts students provided entertainment during the afternoon tea including lots of different musical performances and acting scenes.
All attendees also signed bricks for the new school and we will invite them back to tour our new build in 2025.
The event was a huge success and an excellent way to mark our 85th anniversary!

Chris and Matt Bigley said: "Me and my brother really enjoyed having a last look around the school and sharing memories. It was of course also great to see Deyes is still producing top talent - thoroughly enjoyed the students performances and couldn't have asked for a better way to say goodbye to the old place."
Karen Coppelov (née Davies) added: "Thank you for a really great afternoon yesterday. It felt surreal to be back in the familiar buildings after so long. So lovely to meet up with old friends and staff. The food and entertainment were fantastic. Looking forward to seeing around the fabulous new school at its opening."
