Deyes High School New Entrance as Phase 2 Opened

Deyes High School has reached a major milestone with the completion of Phase 2 of our ambitious building project, unveiling a brand new main entrance that opened to students and staff.
The new entrance, located on Deyes Lane in the same position as the previous school gate next to the D-shaped drop off zone, represents a significant upgrade to the school’s facilities and infrastructure. The redesigned entrance features separate pathways to improve traffic flow and enhance security.
STUDENTS now follow a dedicated right-hand pathway leading directly to the student gate and entrance.
PARENTS and VISITORS take the left-hand pathway to reach the clearly signposted Reception area. All visitors must use the intercom system to gain admission, with reception staff managing access to ensure the site remains fully safeguarded.
As part of the security improvements, onsite parking remains exclusively for Deyes High staff members, accessible only through staff ID badges. This measure ensures complete site protection while maintaining organized vehicle access.
The front of the building remains a “no waiting” area. Parents should avoid parking close to the entrance on Deyes Lane to maintain safety for the entire community and preserve neighbourly relations.
School staff will be positioned at key locations during drop-off and pick-up times to provide guidance and support as the school community adapts to the new layout.
The completion of Phase 2 demonstrates Deyes High School’s ongoing commitment to investing in modern, safe, and accessible facilities that support both learning and community engagement.
