Year 10 Student Inspired to Write Original Poem

A Year 10 student has written an original poem after being inspired by the poetry studied in English lessons.

The Bird in the Cage explores themes of confinement, perspective and acceptance, demonstrating thoughtful reflection and creativity.

The poem is an excellent example of how studying literature can inspire students to develop their own writing style and express complex ideas with confidence.
