Since we opened in 1939, Deyes High School has built a long and successful history of academic excellence and community engagement. We’re proud to be part of the Lydiate Learning Trust and share its vision to ‘Engage, Enable and Empower’ our students.
Our brand new 10,000m² three floor school building is being constructed to replace the current school and will open in Spring 2024. The second phase of the project will be completed in Spring 2025.
We aim to fundraise £500,000 to pay for a high specification school finish. This will include the purchase of new furniture including classroom desks and chairs, sports, music and ICT equipment and outside furniture. Our fundraising will also support the upgrade of our College @ Deyes sixth form building in line with the new build.
Our appeal will benefit our current and future students by creating a positive learning environment which will boost motivation, engagement and learning ability. Local community groups will also benefit as they will be using our diverse facilities.
