On Wednesday 17 April, hundreds of school children and staff from across Sefton, including Deyes High School, supported the #kNOwKnifeCrime campaign. Over 80 schools ran a mini-relay involving primary and secondary schools from across the borough to raise vital funds for specialist bleed kits outside key sites around Sefton
A bleed control kit was the baton in the relay race. Green Park Primary School and St. John Bosco Catholic Primary School ran to Deyes then we ran to St George’s Primary School.
Mrs Richards, Mrs Hughes, Miss Fozard and Miss Danton-King represented and our Year 12 and 13 students helped behind the scenes.
Mrs. Beaney, Head of School, said: “Thank you so much to everyone! You did a wonderful job for such a worthwhile cause.”
