After last year's success, Drama Club is back and the team are planning an even bigger and better year.
Last year, we had over 30 wickedly talented members, who took to the stage three times over the course of the school year. Students performed a powerful Remembrance Day assembly, a festive cracker at St Andrew's Church in December and the grand finale, the Summer Showcase! Around 150 people came to see our students sing, dance and act all in one night.
There is so much talent in performing arts at Deyes High School and we want to keep challenging our drama club members. So, this year we have big plans. We'll be holding summer show auditions soon.
Drama club is every Wednesday lunchtime for Year 7 and Wednesday after school for Year 8 and 9. See Mr Patten or Ms Neill if you need any more information.
